Honeymoons and celebrations
Some trips matter that little bit more. Whether it’s your honeymoon, a big anniversary or a milestone birthday, I’ll help you plan something that feels special from the moment you start looking forward to it, with the details taken care of.
What’s usually included
Every trip is different, so this is a general guide. I’ll always confirm exactly what’s included in your booking before you pay.
Often included
- return flights and your accommodation
- a room, suite or villa of your choice, depending on availability
- transfers, sometimes including seaplane or speedboat transfers in island destinations
- a choice of board basis, from bed and breakfast to all inclusive
Often extra
- special dinners, spa treatments and excursions
- room upgrades
- honeymoon or celebration touches, which some hotels offer and others charge for (some ask for proof, such as a marriage certificate)
- travel insurance
Good to know
- Tell me the occasion. It helps me suggest the right places, and I can mention it to the hotel when booking.
- Seasons vary. Some popular honeymoon spots have rainy seasons, so the time of year can steer where to go.
- Two or more stops. Combining a city or safari with a beach can work beautifully, as long as the travel between them is sensible.
- Book early for the best rooms. Popular villas and suites can go a long way ahead.
Who it suits
Honeymooners, couples marking an anniversary, and anyone celebrating a milestone with family or friends.
